| This project began as REDD worked with plant personnel to engineer a flare system for their storage tanks. Through process modeling and discovery it was determined that though the flare would help, the root problem was an undersized existing slugcatcher. The design and installation of a new slug catcher prevented the losses that had been occuring and resulted in a lower flare rate. |
