| REDD's involvement with Korea Technology Incorporated America (KTIA) began in early 2008 when REDD performed an equipment valuation at an existing site. That valuation encouraged KTIA to purchase the Vernal, UT facility and partner with REDD to implement an Oil Sands Extraction design which had been modularly built in Korea. REDD performed installation and balance of plant design. When the process was modified REDD was asked to provide process engineering and owner oversight over the mechanical design and installation of new equipment. Engineering for material handling and processing was performed in addition to solvent extraction and refining. REDD also lead out commissioning during each phase of the project, which is currently awaiting funding for completion. |
