MECHANICAL ENGINEER

EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS
An ideal canidate would have 10+ years engineering experience in industrial Oil & Gas, Mining, Power, or related fields. Must be interested in and capable to perform:
- Equipment sizing and selection in processing plants (i.e. compressors, engines, pumps, vessels, exchangers, etc.)
- Assisting in the development of piping layouts, Isometrics, and detailed piping design
- Understand all relevant codes (API, ASME, NFPA, etc.) and how the codes apply in processing plants
- Familiarity with Process Flow Diagrams, P&IDs and general process engineering
- A basic understanding of Process Safety Management (PSM)
- Ability to Managing and organizing several projects simultaneously
- Ability to developing scopes of work and RFQ’s (Request for Quotes)
- Organized. Ability to keep project files and correspondence current.
- Key member of project design team, works closely with checker and project managers.
- Self-critical of own work.
